CGR Publishes Carbon Footprint Declaration
We are proud to share our latest carbon footprint declaration, highlighting the progress we’ve made in reducing our environmental impact.
Between 2020 and 2024, we achieved a 66% reduction in CO₂e intensity per unit of sales (Scopes 1 & 2), a significant step toward our commitment to halve our carbon emissions by the end of 2025. This progress reflects targeted investments in renewable energy, energy-efficient technologies, and process optimization across our operations. It enabled us keeping emissions at bay while significantly increas-ing our industrial activity.
What are scope 1 and 2 emissions ?
- Scope 1 represents direct emissions (combustion on site, cars, …).
- Scope 2 represents indirect emissions linked to purchased energy (electricity, gas, heat, …).
Here is our carbon dioxide emission data synopsis for the group from 2020 to 2024 :
