COMAC visits CGR’s Jiaxing factory

A delegation of the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) recently visited CGR’s factory in Jiaxing. It was accompanied by government officials from the Zhejiang Province and the Jiaxing Development & Reform Bureau. The visit aimed at fostering and further nurturing the cooperation be-tween CGR and COMAC. Both companies are already working together on COMAC’s C919 single-aisle jet and envisage extending this cooperation to the C929 twin-engine dual-aisle program.

“Our presence in China and our cooperation with COMAC are essential for our position as a worldwide partner for the industry” comments Philip Tissot, Commercial Director of CGR International.

CGR Jiaxing is a wholly owned subsidiary of CGR International. It occupies a singular position among CGR’s 20 production facilities as it offers all CGR core technologies under a single roof: mechatronics, wire springs, flat springs and cold forming. Established in 2013, CGR Jiaxing today employs 64 people, serving the automotive, aerospace and other industries.
