Gender equality in the workplace is a priority for companies around the world. The French government has made it one of its priorities through the ‘Avenir Professionnel’ law of 5 September 2018. The law created the Gender Equality Index to promote equal pay and equal career opportunities. Companies with more than 50 employees must publish their score on this index once a year in March for the previous calendar year.
