CGR sponsors the 27th 4L Trophy

CGR is once again sponsoring a team of young enthusiasts to take part in the 2024 edition of the 4L Trophy classic car rally. The 2,000 teams in their classic Renault 4L cars will set off from Biarritz (France) on February 15th, heading south across the Sahara. Team no. 1174 is made up of friends Antoine Gallais (27) and Maxime Merel (26), two young mechanical engineers who met at the CNAM engineering school in Paris. They will be driving their 1984 Renault 4L, with its 1,100 cm3 engine producing 34 hp, and plan to cover the 6,000 km in 10 days.

Created in 1997 by Jean-Jacques Rey, the 27th edition of the 4LT Trophy is organised in partnership with the French Red Cross and the association "Enfants du Desert" (Children of the Desert).
