Manufacture of micro-springs
Flat springs, rolled rings, clips
Flat springs are manufactured from rolled steel strip, textured steel, stainless steel and copper alloys. After forming, the flat spring may undergo thermal, chemical or mechanical treatment (washing, greasing, tribofinishing, etc.).

Flat spring variants
Industrial applications
Flat springs are essential components in many industrial applications. They absorb shock and vibration, hold parts in position or provide electrical contact.
Disc springs, also known as Belleville springs, are conical washers. Their conical shape allows them to compress under axial load. They are used singly or in combination to form spring units or spring columns.
Wave disc springs are used as a replacement for helical compression springs. They have a flattened wave shape with several coils at each level. They provide a constant force and only transmit this force in the axial direction.
We also manufacture wrapped bushings and stapled wrapped bushings used as clamps, electric motor housings, etc.
Overmoulding of flat springs
Cutting, forming, assembly
We master all the stages in the manufacture of flat springs: cutting, forming and processing of strip, coiling, production of metal-plastic sub-assemblies by overmoulding, assembly and delivery of complete sub-assemblies.
CGR relies on its STRAIN advanced research laboratory to develop specific technical solutions to complex problems of dimensioning and manufacturing flat springs.
